With over 40 years’ experience as a Chartered Civil Engineer in the construction industry, our Industry Technical Consultant Jim is committed to ensuring our product meets British Standards and is best positioned to meet the needs of the global construction market.
As well as working in construction design and management for national companies across the UK, latterly as Construction Director, Jim holds a number of positions within professional organisations including Fellow Membership of the Institute of Civil Engineers and is a local Council Member of the Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers.
Jim brings both practical and technical expertise to Recycl8. He has worked on several significant infrastructure and building projects in the UK including the development of high quantity cement replacement trials and application. Jim’s extensive experience in construction and expert knowledge in the field is crucial to maintaining the momentum of our journey to market by assessing our product’s field performance in relation to customer requirements and applications.
Daniel holds a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management and has recently stepped into the role of Project Engineer after completing 18 months as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Recycl8.
He joined the team following an industrial placement with a renowned construction company, where he worked on a large scale housing project. Since then, Daniel has played a key role in the launch of our sustainable, lower-carbon R8 Mix concrete.
A passionate advocate of the Circular Economy, Daniel brings energy, insight, and a strong commitment to driving more sustainable practices across the construction industry.
Our Business Operations Manager, Yvonne, brings a wealth of experience to the business, having previously been part of award-winning leadership teams for Tier 1 Companies in the energy sector. A Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Development, Yvonne has a particular interest in marketing, resourcing and customer relationships. She is passionate about generating long-term, sustainable solutions which truly contribute to the Circular Economy.
Finance Director at Recycl8, Raymond, completes our management team. A Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, Raymond has previously been part of several dynamic SMEs in key financial, commercial and general management roles, with a particular focus on organisations with enterprising new products and technologies.
Mike joins us as a Director and Investor. He is a leading energy sector entrepreneur and founder of several successful businesses. Mike is an expert problem-solver who has previously set up innovative technologies in response to his mantra ‘there must be a better way’.
Mike sees Recycl8 as a future thinking organisation who can make a real difference to the lives of people today, whilst leaving a legacy for his family, future generations and the planet we live in.
Doug also joins as Director and Investor. He is a serial successful entrepreneur having founded and lead several award-winning energy sector organisations.
He now uses his extensive experience to help grow successful innovative companies whilst supporting energy transition and environmental sustainability.
Doug sees Recycl8 as a great investment who are a progressive organisation really making a difference on the road to creating a sustainable future for our planet.
CE Geochem deliver tailored cutting edge research and development through applied laboratory studies, geotechnical modelling and consultancy services.
CE Geochem are currently working with Recycl8 to develop new technologies for processing IBAA to meet end of waste specification when using in hydraulically bound engineering systems. The focus has been on characterising mineralogical transformations and geochemical performance through advanced testing work and complimentary geochemical modelling studies.
